Privacy at Heartly
Read our core Privacy Policy for our app, Apple Health, account, analytics and support practices. This supplement describes campaign measurement in Heartly versions that include the TikTok App Events SDK and Apple SKAdNetwork. It does not replace the core policy.
Campaign measurement
Heartly uses TikTok’s App Events SDK to report basic app and subscription milestones for advertising measurement and campaign optimization. Heartly also uses Apple’s SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving campaign attribution. Direct SDK reporting is separate from Apple’s aggregated attribution reports.
What the measurement includes
- The TikTok SDK reports its first measured install and app launches. Heartly reports paywall views, onboarding completion, confirmed trial starts and confirmed paid subscription starts. These event hooks do not include profile answers, health measurements or transaction identifiers.
- The SDK also collects app, device and network metadata, including app version, operating system and device information, vendor and SDK-generated identifiers, IP/network information and diagnostics. Sending basic event names does not mean the SDK sends no device information. This integration does not use TikTok’s account-matching API; enhanced data collection, automatic purchase reporting and screenshot collection are disabled.
- Heartly supplies Apple with a conversion value representing the highest observed milestone: launch, paywall viewing, onboarding completion, confirmed trial start or confirmed paid subscription start.
- Apple determines whether an installation is attributable to an ad and sends privacy-preserving postbacks to the relevant advertising network, which may be TikTok. Reports may contain campaign attribution and conversion information, subject to Apple’s privacy thresholds and reporting delays.
- Apple conversion values are updated during an initial 48-hour window; direct SDK milestone reporting is not limited to that window. This integration does not report revenue amounts or automatic trial renewals. Local measurement and purchase-deduplication state is kept on the device.

What we do not send to TikTok
Heartly’s conversion-event hooks do not send Apple Health records, steps, calories, form scores, streaks, health permissions, profile answers, exact age, sex, weight, height, email addresses, phone numbers, Heartly account IDs or transaction IDs to TikTok. Screenshot and enhanced-data collection are disabled. Device metadata collected by the SDK is described above. Heartly’s separate app analytics and other services are covered by the core policy.
